Well, there’s no denying it- it is summer no longer! Luckily, the end of summer doesn’t have to be sad. With so many fantastic things to do year-round, Kitchener Waterloo has got you covered. Instead of holing up with a bottle of wine and this year’s vacation photos, why not head to the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium? After all, today marks the first day of the Kitchener Rangers 2016-2017 season!
Tonight at 7:30pm, the Rangers will kick off the season with a home game against the Flint Firebirds. Whip up some appetizers or grab a bag of popcorn and watch them face off! Regular season tickets are only $22.50, and $18.50 for kids 12 and under. It’s best to buy tickets ahead of time, though, as they often sell out quite quickly!
If you prefer playing hockey as opposed to watching it, stay tuned for our upcoming post on rinks and ponds this winter. Or, if you’re satisfied with skating only, check rink schedules with the City of Waterloo.
