Do you still have it in you for a little bit of festival fun after the Canada day weekend? If so, get ready for the Kultrun World Music Festival in Victoria Park! This annual festival is free, and has been named the Region’s “biggest outdoor dance party!” On July 8th and 9th, head down to Victoria Park for live music, dancing, vendors, and more. You can also purchase tickets for the opening Gala on July 7th at themuseum. Put on your dancing shoes, get ready to try delicious new food, and head to this year’s Kultrun festival!
There are many things to see and do at the Kultrun World Music Festival. Contrary to its name, this festival offers many varied activities beyond live music performances. Food, craft, and non-profit vendors will all be present to provide you with delicious meals, information, and artwork! There are also other interactive activities available, including workshops by professional artists. There is even a beer garden cantina! This event is appropriate for all ages, and admission is free. Don’t miss the opportunity to check out one of Kitchener’s most popular festivals!
This year’s line up features 20 live performances by talented musicians and singers. Some scheduled performances include Grammy Award nominated Vivalda Dula, South African “township music” performer Lorraine Klaasen, and Bareto alternative tropical music.
