The Best of Victoria Park
Public Art– The city of Kitchener has invested in making public art available for everyone. Catch permanent installments, rotating exhibits, and more throughout the park. Victoria Park also has its own small gallery, open weekends from mid-May to October.
Events– Events such as Beer and Ribfest, Yoga in the Park, and the K-W Multicultural Festival frequently take place here. KidsPark is also coming up on August 21st for younger audiences. Check our calendar regularly so you don’t miss out!
Walking Trails– This is a great place to take your pooch for a walk! With access to the Iron Horse Trail, flower gardens, and paths running along the lake, you won’t lack for scenery. Plus, the Trans Canada Trail runs right through Victoria Park!
Great Food– With great events come great food! But, you don’t have to wait for a special festival or fair to dig into some seriously delicious food. The Boathouse on Victoria Park Lake offers live music, craft beer, and- you guessed it- some pretty great meals! Grab a schnitzel sandwich or some weekend brunch and chow down.
Playground and Splash Pad– If you’ve got kids in tow, pack a picnic and send them to burn off some energy in the play structure and adjacent splash pad. With a picnic shelter, benches, and plenty of trees, Victoria Park makes a great location for your weekend lunch.
